More art drawings

      I know I haven't post anything for a year. I been busy with my Computer Science classes, learning how to code, and the occasional drawing when I have spare time. Last year I took the class Drawing II because I wanted to learn to draw better and I didn't wanted my academic life just to concentrate in programing. I can say I learn a lot and I'm very happy with some of the projects I did. I wasn't able to take another drawing class this semester, because I don't want to keep stalling my graduation date, but I'm still drawing in my spare time. So I'm going to post some of the works that I really liked from Drawing II and others I did in my free time. I'm also going to post some programs I have done, because I also want to record my process as a programer.

       This is a fanart I did for the lead singer of Fallout Boy, Patrick Stump. Its him singing in lego form. I purchased a VIP ticket to go the Monument Tour last April and it included a Meet and Greet. So I wanted to give him something fun and unique, apart that it will be good practice and challenging to draw in Adobe Photoshop. I took me a lot of time, but I'm really happy with the results. I still think the hands are a little smaller for its proportion, and the left side of its face seems a little burned. Maybe cause I added too much brown in the shading.

One of my personal favorites. The professor ask us to draw an auto portrait of ourselves with pencil. It can portray that "I don't care" attitude. To me, it represents that when I'm drawing, nothing else matters in the world.

Another personal favorite from my Drawing II class. I first drew them in pencil, as shown in the photo below this one, then in the page above it, I drew and paint them with printer's ink.  I was trying to explore what I could do with the ink that was more artistic than just painting some pretty eyes.  I'm a big fan of colors and I get inspired a lot with anything that looks eeirie. So I look up at some photos of eyes in the internet, and tried painting them in different styles. I do feel like I should had drawn the two last eyes more seperatly since they're both from the same face. I also think the dripping eye would had look better with less colors. 

An exercise to practice drawing ears with pencil and pen. Most of them are in a similar position, however, they're all from different people and with different jewelry. My main focus was to practice making small details with pencil and pen, and practice shading. I was a little nervous that the ears done in pen weren't going to come out well, but I'm happy with the result.

An exercise to practice drawing noses. Apart from practicing different positions, I wanted to practice movement. So I made my sister turn her head slowly and took photos. I recognize the noses done in pen didn't come out as well.
